Agassiz-Harrison Historical Society

The Agassiz-Harrison Museum and Visitor Information Centre is operated by the Agassiz-Harrison Historical Society (AHHS), a registered non-profit society and charitable organization.

The purpose of the Society are:

  • To identify, acquire, preserve, and make accessible to the public, in accordance with accepted museum and archival principles and procedures, the physical holdings and records regarding development, settlement, individuals, families, arts and community organizations, businesses, industry (particularly farming and logging), and local public bodies; and
  • To increase public awareness, knowledge and understanding of the museum and archives role through programming in order to preserve the community’s physical and documentary heritage.

Support & Financial Donations

The AHHS operates the museum and archives through financial support provided by grants; cash and in-kind donations from the community; and though the support of its membership.

Financial Donations: The Society accepts cash and credit card donations for which tax deductible receipts will be issued for donations of $25 or more.

Membership: Membership years run from January – December. Support the AHHS by becoming a member.

Giving in Memory: Honor the memory of your loved ones though a donation to the Agassiz-Harrison Historical Society. For a $100.00 donation, a photograph and biography will be included in our In Memory presentation featured in the museum’s lobby.

LocoMotive Gift Shop: Purchase gift shop items and support the AHHS in their operations of the Agassiz-Harrison Museum and Visitor Information Centre.
